We make fun, inclusive and accessible games – and we help others to do the same.

We’re currently working on our debut title, Dragon Queens.

Origin Story

Kaludoscope’s founders met in the playful anarchy of a cardboard fort, and soon decided they wanted to make games together. In 2016 they decided to found their own micro-studio, making fun, inclusive and accessible games – and helping others to do the same.

Kaludoscope AB is based in Stockholm and London.

Meet the Team

Gemma (CEO & designer, 🇬🇧🇸🇪) has worked in the games industry since 2011, and has been campaigning for greater diversity in games for almost as long. A frequent game jammer, she’s also known for her keen interest in transit infrastructure. She goes by @RaygunGoth on Twitter.

Delia (CTO & developer, 🇦🇺🇬🇧) is an experienced Unity developer with a background in Flash, and a keen interest in audio. She is often to be seen wielding swords, when fencing or taking part in re-enactments. She goes by @quirksilver on Twitter.

What We Do

We’re here to make a wide variety of games, with one key element in common: inclusive fun. Our games library may not fit neatly into one particular genre or platform, but we always take care not to leave a player feeling unjustly offended or otherwise excluded from the works we create. We’re doing what we can, making our own contribution to diversification of the gaming medium – one step at a time.

We also do what we can to share the knowledge and practices we gather, either by providing tools (currently a work in progress), providing consultancy or by spreading the word: at conferences and festivals, and on platforms like our blog.
